Volunteer

Children’s Village Volunteers are friends and neighbors that come to one of the homes to read to the children, help with homework, bring arts and crafts for the children and provide a wide variety of help. The regular volunteers complete the application packet and attend a short training that is held to clarify the safety, confidentiality and philosophy of the agency. Volunteers may call to have that paper work mailed to their home.

We also need volunteers that are willing to come to do occasional projects. The needs include, seasonal grounds care, spring and fall cleaning, painting and a wide variety of special projects. The children also enjoy learning a musical instrument, a new language, ethnic holidays or cultural traditions. If you have the time and a unique gift or talent, please call.
